Dalian Beer Festival

Northern China tends to drink a lot of beer and Dalian is no exception. For far too many days during the summer, Dalian puts on a great but terribly loud Beer Festival.

Having lived in Northern China for a while now, I seek to dispel the stereotype that Chinese are typically short. The people here--women included--are often as tall or taller than my 6 feet.

It must be something in both the water and beer.
